This 1-day experience is for those who just want to experience what it is like to become a mermaid!

 

Prerequisites: Participants must be able to float face up for 10 seconds, stand up, then float face down for 10 seconds unassisted. There will be a brief skills check prior to the experience.

 

Participants do not earn a certification. This experience includes a briefing and in-water session.

This is a 1-day introductory course featuring a knowledge development session and a confined water session.

 

Prerequisites: Participants must be able to confidently swim 25m and float for 3 minutes unassisted.

 

Ideal for confident merfolk who want to learn to swim safely with a mermaid tail. Successful students will earn their PADI Basic Mermaid Certification.

$330 | Ages 10+
This is a 2-day certification course consisting of knowledge development sessions and 2 confined water sessions.

Prerequisites: Participants must be able to confidently swim at least 50m and float comfortably on the surface for 5 minutes. 

 

Ideal for merfolk interested in adding a professional certification to their mermaid endeavors. Successful students will earn their PADI Mermaid Certification.

$430 | Ages 12+

This is a 3-day certification course where individuals will learn how to safely manage, perform in, and care for a tail. Students will also become proficient in mermaid rescue maneuvers. This is the only course that includes an open water session. 

 

Prerequisites: Participants must be able to confidently swim at least 100m and float comfortably on the surface for at least 10 minutes. Participants must have completed the PADI Mermaid course. 

The course consists of knowledge development sessions, 2 confined water sessions and 2 open water sessions. Successful students will earn their PADI Advanced Mermaid Certification.

$630 | Ages 12+

$1,230* | Ages 18+

This is a 3-day certification course for qualified mermaids looking to teach the PADI Mermaid Program. Successful candidates will be certified to teach the Discover Mermaid Experience, Basic Mermaid, Mermaid and Advanced Mermaid courses. 

 

Prerequisites: 

• Certified PADI Mermaid & Advanced Mermaid 

• EFR (Emergency First Response) or qualifying certification within the last 24 months. You may take your EFR with us, or prior to the course 

• Current medical form or statement signed by a physician within the previous 12 months

• The ability to swim at least 400m without swim aids or floatation devices

• The ability to swim at least 800m using a mask, snorkel and fins

• The ability to back float, tread, or bob on the water's surface at least 10 minutes without aids

• The ability to submerge and swim under water, without a mask, without distress. 

Candidates must complete the PADI Mermaid Instructor Course with Echo, a certified PADI Mermaid Instructor Trainer. They must also pass the Mermaid Instructor Exam with a score of at least 75 percent.

This is a 6-day certification course for mermaids looking to fast track their way to becoming an instructor, who don't have any PADI Mermaid certifications yet. Earn your PADI Mermaid & Advanced, then move right on to becoming an instructor. Successful candidates will be certified to teach the Discover Mermaid Experience, Basic Mermaid, Mermaid and Advanced Mermaid courses. 

 

Prerequisites: 

• Certified PADI Mermaid & Advanced Mermaid 

• Certified PADI Mermaid & Advanced Mermaid
